Hi, I’m Arie!

I like to consider myself a photographer for extroverted introverts. I’m an omnivert myself, so I can relate! I specialize in lifestyle portraiture and wedding photography. This means I take a very candid approach to every shoot. My love for photos started after experiencing the loss of my baby sister to cancer and it grew passionately after the loss of my father in 2012. 

Throughout my childhood my mother was very adamant about capturing photos and videos of everything we did. Even something as simple as eating on the porch, which I thought was silly at the time. As I got older I realized that all we have are the memories of people and moments past. It’s something about holding a photo in your hand and being taken back to that exact moment where you can feel those same emotions from that day. 

With all that said, it’s safe to say that I became that person in any group with the camera capturing every moment. And a quick Fun Fact: I went from getting my college degree in Social Work to achieving a degree in Fine Arts to pursue photography. 

  Since graduating from college, I've worked for and studied under several professional portrait and wedding photographers across the U.S. Over the years, I’ve photographed a variety of events, weddings, and portraits in every region of the country; ranging from traditional, non-traditional, to same-sex. I'm open to everyone and love traveling the world! So just call me my name and I’ll be there! (If you sang that last part, we’re perfect for each other)

 For me, photographs make reminiscing even more vivid and I’m honored to be able to share my gifts of freezing time with you. To this day I still look back on those times with my friends and family in detail thanks to the photographs. If you’ve read this far, you must like me. I mean REALLY like me and I appreciate you! 

I believe we are all here on this Earth with a purpose; For some it may be purpose(s). This is one of mine.
