How do I book a portrait session or wedding?
First, you should get in touch with me! Let's chat! We’ll get acquainted and make see that I'm available for your wedding or ideal portrait date. For weddings, I'll have you fill out a questionnaire, sign the contract and send a 30% non-refundable retainer to lock in your wedding date.
For smaller events/portraits, you’ll need to sign a contract and send 50% non-refundable retainer. From there, we'll set up a date to video chat to discuss important details and timelines!
How much are your Sessions and weddings?
Portrait sessions start at $375 and are 90mins.
My wedding packages start at $1,800 for 4hrs of coverage. Elopements start at $1,200. Again, no two weddings or are the same. You may want something more, they may want something less. It’s best to talk with me to see what we can work out.
Where are you located? Do you travel?
I am based out of Georgia and Michigan. I travel for weddings all the time. Hence the word “Destination” and “Traveling” Portrait & Wedding Photographer. As far as portrait sessions I’ll always post where I’ll be in advance. So be on the look out or send in an inquiry. I absolutely love traveling. If I could travel and do photography full-time, I would permanently be on Cloud 9! It’s my dream!
Are there travel fees?
Yes, anywhere more than 2hrs from my current location will have additional travel fees to account for flights and/or hotel. All-in-all, the prices we discuss are what you pay. There are no hidden or extra fees. Estimated travel fees could be anywhere from $200 - $2,000 depending on season and location.
When is my payment due?
For weddings, in addition to a signed contract, 30% of your agreed total cost is required as a non-refundable retainer in order to lock in your desired date. The remaining balance is due in FULL 30 days prior to your wedding date.
Portrait sessions are 50% of your agreed total cost, and a signed contract in order to book your desired date and time. The remaining balance is due in FULL at the conclusion of your photoshoot.
how far in advance should we book?
Typically, couples book me about 15 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, because popular months (June, Sept & Oct) get booked up fairly fast. Also, the sooner you book the more time you have to pay your balance off.
Will You Edit All My Photos?
After culling/narrowing down your photos, all final images will be edited for color correction, saturation, exposure, sharpness, etc to ensure they look beautiful.
Do You offer video services?
Yes, I have a videographer that I work closely with on weddings. You have the option to add video to any package of your choosing!
Are you insured?
Yes, absolutely!
What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photography my event/wedding?
In my 8+ years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never missed a wedding (except at the beginning of COVID 2020). In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues the day of your wedding. They will turn all the photos over to me and I will edit and proceed with the process as usual.
