Motherhood is a life that I have yet to experience, but the women I’ve come across have nothing but strength to share. Meet Aulesha, a young mom of soon-to-be 4. When she contacted me, she had an idea of how she wanted to go about her maternity photos, as did I. The funniest part is that she couldn’t see my vision and I couldn’t see her’s either. We both went in blind but trusted each other and I’d say we knocked her maternity photoshoot out the park!

Would you believe me if I told you I did their photoshoot right in their home? In the dining room? I wouldn’t either. But I’d like to think their photos are magazine-worthy! Essence and MunaMommy WE HAVE ARRIVED!!

After our session I asked how she felt this time around:

I feel great that this is my last kid and it’s almost over!!!

Having my first child, being 17 yrs old, I honestly thought it was all about dressing them up, taking pictures and showing them off. I learned super fast the day we left the hospital it was much more to it!

It took me 5 years and 5 months to have my second child which is my 1st son. He was a breeze. At this point, I knew what to expect. I figured I had this “mommy thing” down packed!!

A couple years later I decided to give him a sibling in hopes of having a boy, but it turned out to be a baby girl! Which they are bestfriends! They do EVERYTHING together. I love their bond! I always wanted a big family due to me being the ONLY child in my home and never having my own siblings to play and grow up with!

And here I am again. haha I decided to have a 4th baby which was my “Tie breaker” and I am more then happy! I feel complete that i’ll have my two girls & two boys and that they will grow up together and will always have each other.!

To Aulesha:

I’m so happy and proud of you. I’ve loved you since day one and have always been proud to call you family. You are becoming an amazing woman and mom. Never doubt yourself and keep pushing forward even when you feel like you’ve been set back. I cannot wait to see what this new edition of your life holds for you, for us! I’m sad that I can’t be there as often as I’d like, but you know I’ll always send my love even if it’s in the form of a meme. LOL

Everyone, please help me welcome Baby Boy to this World!

(because I know that she’ll have him, by the time I publish this blog. haha. I’m so bad at this)
